We offer our house guests a breakfast buffet in the morning from 8 am to 10 am with a selection of different breads, butter, jam, honey, chocolate, eggs, ham, sausage, cheese, cereals, fruits, juices, hot drinks and much more.
In our shop you will find teas and spices from Sonnentor, Chi-Cafe, vegan chocolate and chocolate from Lindt, Marinas Popcorn, as well as various snacks.
Dany Schmitt, our pastry chef and baker, spoils you every day from 12 am - 5 pm
with delicious homemade cakes, as well as
from thursday to sunday from 12 am - 5 pm with freshly prepared tartes flambées from the brick oven, which makes "good mood", also in vegetarian variants.
We use natural ingredients and, for the most part, regional ingredients such as fruits and eggs from the Kestenhalde farm in Sasbachwalden and Emil Kopp from Sinzheim.
Our black forest cake is made with real Kirschwasser.
We even bake with spelt flour from the Zeller mill in Ottersweier.

Our cake menu changes weekly and on request (at least 1 week before) we also bake birthday and wedding cakes or cakes for special occasions.
The Flammkuchen / tarte flambée is a specialty from the Alsace. The basic thing of the tarte flambée is a very thinly rolled bottom of bread dough. The traditional ingredients are onions, bacon and sour cream, which is only slightly seasoned. The so-dipped dough is baked in the oven for a short period of time.
Tartes flambées were baked in the baking oven before bread, they were a helping method to estimate the temperature of the oven.
